About

About Dr. Hall

Dr. Hall is a clinical psychologist with more than 22 years of experience, specializing in neurodevelopmental and psychoeducational assessment, parent consultation, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. She sees children from infancy through the teenage years, addressing a range of childhood problems including anxiety, ADHD, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and behavioral challenges. Whether she’s evaluating a child or supporting them in therapy, she brings a warm, playful, and supportive approach to her work, which is highly individualized and shaped around the personality and needs of each child.

Dr. Hall spends meaningful time with each child and customizes her testing to their strengths and unique needs, so that families get clear, accurate answers and children have a positive experience along the way. In therapy, she partners with children and their parents to build understanding, develop practical skills, and create a path forward.

Before co-founding the Atlanta Children’s Center, Dr. Hall was an assistant professor at the Emory University School of Medicine and Director of Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis at the Marcus Autism Center. In these roles, she conducted evaluations for more than 2,000 children, led the center’s diagnostic team, and trained postdoctoral fellows and medical residents. She has also consulted on interdisciplinary teams in CHOA’s Developmental Neurology Program and the Emory Neurodevelopment and Exposure Clinic (ENEC). Today, alongside her clinical practice, she is an adjunct professor in Emory’s Department of Psychology, where she provides clinical training and supervision to doctoral students.

Dr. Hall earned her bachelor’s degree in child development from Vanderbilt University and her doctorate in clinical psychology from Emory University. She co-authored the book Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment in Schools, and her earlier research explored maternal depression, the early and accurate identification of developmental disorders, and the unique ways autism spectrum disorder presents in girls.
